The Mysteries of Gift Giving

{ 2 comments }

I have a confession.

I wasn’t going to share this video in the newsletter.

When I created it I had planned to share it just on our Custom Built Facebook page. (I do that sometimes, so if you are on Facebook, but haven’t liked our page yet, now would be a good time to do it. If you want to make sure not to miss anything, also select to receive notifications.)

This video is a follow up to my last video and in it I tackle the big questions that are on everyone’s mind this time of year. Dave felt that if I only shared it on Facebook, someone who needed it might not see it. So I took his advice and am sharing it here too.

Watch this video, I kept it short – just 2 minutes – since I know most people don’t have an abundance of free time over the holidays, and then share your insights on the big questions in the comments below. I am always grateful for your input and how we work together to support each other.

Happy Holidays! Keep smiling!

Warmly,
Stacy and Dave

    You got questions, I got the answers Stacy! It just so happens that this Xmas my brother bought a new car for his daughter. And since he is a car crazed man and a creative holiday gift giving sleuth, he has it all well planned. Car was being prepared for delivery at the dealership while my brother negotiated with a neighbor to “hide” this special gift in plain sight. As for the giant bow, my brother is contrarian. The teenyest red bow will be affixed to the roof. Now one other question is how to present the auto present? A special agreement has been created requiring the recipient to acknowledge and to nine conditions (ex: no texting while driving) before the keys are bestowed. So Virginia there really is a Santa at the AutoMart!

      Michele, I should have known you would have the answers that I needed!! This doesn’t mean that I have to buy Dave a car now does it? I love that there are nine conditions that must first be agreed to. Your brother is a clever man! I hope his super surprise goes off smoothly and brings joy to all! I would love for you to come back after Christmas and update me. Have a very Merry Christmas!
